Part W is an action group challenging systems that disadvantage women and calling for gender mainstreaming in the built environment. We campaign for the recognition of women and women’s work. We highlight areas of inequality through gathering and crowdsourcing research and data. We disseminate knowledge through talks, lectures, publications and workshops.

Join Part W x Festival of Place this December for an online workshop exploring the everyday obstacles women face in the built environment as part of our #BuiltBarriers campaign. Our panel of insightful speakers will be followed by an interactive workshop led by Part W facilitators.
