Part II Architectural Assistant at IFDO
IF_DO is looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join its team in London.
Established in 2014, IF_DO is a multi-award winnin practice dedicated to creating projects with a positive impact on users, the environment and the surrounding community.
The position requires a talented designer with the ability, skills & motivation to contribute to the delivery high-quality projects, in residential, commercial and culture sectors.
Responsibilities include:
production of 2D and 3D drawings (Vectorworks)
creation of digital 3D models using SketchUp and Rhino
visualisations for presentations by hand a using Photoshop, Enscape and AI tools
model-making and hand drawing
creation of graphics, art work, diagrams
assisting with creation of presentation materials for bids and competitions
participation in meetings with clients, consultants and contractors etc.
design and delivery of smaller building projects through all RIBA stages (with support)
assisting in the design and delivery of larger/more complex building projects through all RIBA stages under a senior team member
Required skills and experience:
RIBA part II (or equivalent qualification)
exceptional design skills
good working knowledge of CAD (Vectorworks 2D and 3D preferred)
high level of competency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Enscape
proficiency in 3D modelling (SketchUp, Rhino) and physical modelling
good research and development techniques
excellent written and verbal communication skills
